I have been an artist my entire life. Growing up with an artist as a mother, it seemed the natural path for me to peruse my own artistic skills. I earned a BFA in Graphic Design from Montana State University in a program that had an emphasis on not only digital art, but also traditional fine art techniques.
In my paintings I attempt to find a balance between impressionism and realism. I love the challenge of creating a realistic representation of an animal, or natural moment, but there is also something I find beautiful about the painted texture. Through my art I strive to find a balance between the two.
